(5:10)   III.       Follow-up on Issues from Wednesday, Sept. 24 Meeting with Chris Dawson,

Development Services Planner.

                        A. Allowance for accessory dwelling units in residential districts.*

B. Modification of street requirements for affordable housing,* particularly landscaping requirements.

                        C. Transfer of Development Rights.

                        D. Recommendations on A-C.

(5:40)   IV.       Affordable Housing Incentives and Issues Recommendations.

A. Development of an inventory list of locally-owned public lands appropriate for use as affordable housing.*

B. Lack of communication and advertising for the County’s affordable housing programs, particularly impact fee rebates.

C. Possibility of raising SHIP Down Payment Assistance qualifying upper income limit to 140% for essential services personnel.

D. Better coordination between the City’s and the County’s SHIP programs.

E. Households receiving SHIP Down Payment Assistance receive less down payment assistance when the home requires rehabilitation.
